In CoD MW2 & Warzone 2, you can complete the Legion Mission Muddy Waters to get 10K XP. This mission also rewards you with the Blueprints for the Maniples X12 Pistol. But this mission can take you several tries before you can actually complete it. So here is an easy guide for how you can complete the Muddy Waters DMZ mission in Call of Duty Warzone 2 & MW2.

How to Complete Muddy Waters in MW2 & Warzone 2
You need to collect three pieces of intel on Ashika Island to complete the Muddy Waters Challenge. The things you need to collect and extract are:
- Shadow Company USB stick from Ashika Island Beach Club
- Ashika Island intel from the underground Waterway
- Crown intel from the Ashika power plant.
While the game does give you these locations the task isn’t super simple. All of these require you to extract with the intel, so it is best you do them in 3 different matches instead of one. This is because the second and third parts of this mission is particularly tough. Not to mention other players are trying to complete them as well so oftentimes you won’t get them even when reaching the correct location. So here is how you can get them all:
Shadow Company USB stick
Starting with the easiest task on this mission. Go to the southernmost part of the map where you can see a circle (marked above in the image). This area is the Beach Club. Get to the observatory using any jet ski or boat that you can find. Once you get there dive below. Here you can see various windows. Break open one using a melee attack or find an open window. Get inside here and you will find three boxes that you can loot. One of them has the Shadow Company USB stick.
Collect it and extract it to complete this task. Make sure you resurface timely as to not die from lack of oxygen when looking for this USB stick. In case you can’t find the USB then there is a chance someone already took it. So the best thing to do is leave the match and try again.
Ashika Island intel
For the Ashika Island intel, you have to go under Tsuki Castle. This area has several Elite guards and even a guard that patrols with a minigun. The good thing is you can get here from any side. I recommend taking the stealth approach and going to Tsuki Castle from the west. Next, make your way down and you should reach the area where you can find the Submarine. Eliminate the enemies here, and you will find the Ashika Island intel in one of the Gray shipment containers.
Again extract to complete this task, so only one will be left for the mission.
Crown intel – Complete Muddy Waters DMZ Mission in MW2 & Warzone 2
For this final task, you will need a Stronghold key. You can collect a stronghold key by eliminating enemies and getting it from them as a drop. Or you can even buy one. And in case you find one while completing your other missions then extract with it because you can carry it over.
- Go to the location northwest of Tsuki Castle, check the above image for reference.
- This is a Powerplant.
- Go there and make your way to the top room. You can enter here by breaking the glass window.
- Look for the Crown Intel behind the counter.
While I have explained the above in the order of the challenges given in the game, you can do them in any order that you like.
