This is one of those fun challenges that will have you driving a motorboat on the flooded areas of the Fortnite map. Here’s how to Complete a Lap at Motorboat Mayhem in Fortnite Season 3.
Fortnite Motorboat Mayhem Location
First, let’s see where you have to land in order to complete this challenge. On the Fortnite season 3 map, you can find Motorboat Mayhem location in the water to the north of Misty Meadows. We have marked it here to help you out.
Once you arrive at this location, get into a boat attached to a crane. There will be a few motorboats hanging from the cranes so get into any one of them.
From here, drive the motorboat and reach the start line. It will be indicated by some blinking lights and a display with a countdown timer of 15 seconds. It’s a pretty long time to start the challenge and during this, you have to make sure that you don’t get killed. Since almost everyone will be trying to complete this challenge, maybe you can wait a bit to do it yourself. But if you want to get it done, be careful of enemy players while you are driving around the area.
Once the light is green, you can begin driving the motorboat to complete a lap at Motorboat Mayhem. Your route will be indicated by some rings that you have to drive through with the motorboat.
There are some ramps to help you boost the boat to a height but be careful not to lose control while doing it. Also don’t miss any ring because in that case you have to start over.
When you pass through all of the rings, you will successfully finish this challenge. You will get a reward of 35,000 XP for completing this short quest.
