Killing Steiner’s Soldiers in Call of Duty Vanguard
Before you proceed with killing Steiner in Call of Duty Vanguard, you will need to first kill his soldiers. You might need to pay close attention to these steps because killing the soldiers can be even trickier than killing Steiner himself.
The first thing you need to do is keep yourself mobile. Do not stay put in one part of the map. Keep moving. You will also come across places where you can duck and jump over, so make good use of them. The aim is to distract the enemy soldiers, making it harder for them to attack you.
In this part of the map, you will come across three Jagermorders with LMGs. In order to eliminate them, keep staying mobile and move away from their smoke screens so that you can get a clear target. Alternatively, you can also use the machine gun on top of the stairs. However, doing so may make you susceptible to enemy attacks on the flanks.

Here, too, your aim will be to tackle Steiner with the use of stealth. Doing so will help you avoid any contact with him as he looks for you in different spaces. So, keep hiding and maintaining a low profile to avoid his gaze.
Once you feel the timing is right, you can make a run for it and get him to chase you. You can do so by pressing the Up arrow key. Doing so will result in Polina whistling, after which Steiner will begin to chase. Once you properly lure Steiner in to follow you, you will need to find the right time to go around him and attack him.
In order to attach him, you will need to press the R3 button once. This will result in a short cutscene that shows Polina stabbing Leo. However, he will simply shake off the attack and try to escape. You will then need to keep pressing the R3 button and repeating this process three times to kill him.
