We’ve heard of Voidtouched, but what exactly is the Cloudtouched in Grow a Garden? It’s a new limited mutation that gives a cloud VFX around the fruits in your plot of land; however, its value multiplier isn’t like Voidtouched. Take a look at how much it can boost your crops and whether it’s worth it.
How to Get Cloudtouched in Grow a Garden?
The Cloudtouched mutation can be obtained by two methods, both of which are not weather-related. You can apply it to your crops by using the Mutation Spray Cloudtouched and if you have the Hyacinth Macaw pet, there’s a small chance of getting it on your plants as well. Here’s how you can have both of these items.
How to Get Mutation Spray Cloudtouched
This is a special spray that is sold by the traveling sky merchant. This NPC can show up after every 4 hours and you have 30 minutes to decide whether you want to buy it for a whopping 50,000,000 Sheckles. You can also directly buy it for 189 Robux if it’s currently not in stock. Note that these sprays have a one-time use after which they will disappear from your inventory.
Once you equip it in your character’s hand, point to the crop you want to give Cloudtouched to, and click on it to use the spray. The crop should change, visually, to depict the mutation you have given it.
The next way to get this mutation is via the Mythical Hyacinth Macaw pet which is obtainable from the Oasis egg which costs 10 Summer Coins. You can also buy one egg for 149 Robux, 3 eggs for 429 Robux or 10 Eggs for 1269 Robux. It will hatch after 4 hours and 10 minutes, and there’s only a 5% chance of getting this pet from the Oasis egg, so you’ll need multiple.
Once obtained, there’s a 15.63% chance for this Grow a Garden pet to mutate a nearby fruit with Cloudtouched every 8 minutes. Its hunger is 12000, so you’ll need to keep feeding it to age it up.
Unfortunately, for its high price, it only gives a x5 multiplier to its value. It can be useful if you use it on a crop that already has a stack of high-value mutations and you want to boost it even more. But on its own, it’s not very useful as of now. Hopefully, the devs improve its multiplier a bit more soon.
