The Chimera Stone is one of the most advanced late-game gear items in Grow a Garden, and it plays a major role in unlocking the powerful Chimera pet. This guide breaks down everything you need to know – what it is, how to craft it, what it’s used for, and some tips to help you get ready for it.
What is the Chimera Stone in Grow a Garden?
The Chimera Stone is a Divine-tier gear item that can be used to fuse three different pets, an Emerald Snake, a Lion, and a Goat, into a Chimera. Visually, it looks like any other pet shard but this one can be used to create a whole new pet.
How to Obtain the Chimera Stone
You cannot buy this item directly; it must be crafted. Here’s the full recipe and requirements:
- Mythical Egg x1 (Cost: 8,000,000 Sheckles)
- Bug Egg x1 (Cost: 50,000,000 Sheckles)
- Jungle Egg x1 (Cost: 60,000,000 Sheckles)
- Gem Egg x1 (Cost: 250,000,000 Sheckles)
- 500,000,000 Sheckles
- Crafting Time: 1 hour
The Mythical, Bug, Jungle and Gem eggs can be purchased from the Pet Eggs Shop whenever they are in stock and they are expensive, so make sure you have saved up Sheckles beforehand. You can also directly purchase them with Robux if you don’t want to wait for a restock.
Also, remember not to place them in your garden because you don’t need them hatched – you need the eggs.
Once you have all the items, head to the crafting station next to the Cosmetics shop, submit the ingredients, and wait for the process to complete.
Then, equipthe Stone in your hand and click on it. This initiates the riddle:
- You will see a message: The stone rumbles…it thirsts for a creature of stubborn strength…a horned beast. Go ahead and place the Goat in your garden to complete this part.
- The next message will ask you to place the king of beasts so, it’s time for the Lion.
- Lastly, it will ask for a serpent, so place the Emerald snake obtainable from the Gem Egg.
Note that the Goat and Lion were obtainable in previous events of Halloween (Creepy Critters) and Safari (Mega Safari Harvest) shops, respectively, so if you don’t have them, you will need to trade with other players.
The process isn’t over yet! You also need to place 4 light sources (such as lamp cosmetics) in your garden. Finally, you also need to place any table (obtainable from the cosmetics shop), and once that’s done, interaction with the Chimera Stone will bring up a confirmation window. Click on Confirm if you’re ready to fuse the pets and that’s it!
How to Get the Chimera Pet
After crafting it, you use the Chimera Stone in a fusion ritual that combines the Emerald Snake, Lion and Goat into a Divine-tier pet Chimera which has the combined abilities of the previous pets with some boosts.
This makes it only the second gear in the game capable of performing a pet fusion – the first being the Lich Crystal.
