Baldur’s Gate 3 players can use Cheat Engine to enable and use certain cheat codes. While the gameplay of BG3 is certainly terrifying and difficult on occasions, players are hoping to use cheat codes to make things easier. However, unlike other games by Larian Studios, it won’t be easy to use cheats or console commands and spawn items or get things from NPCs. Although this is not the ironclad reason, as a result of the multiplayer outreach of BG3, there are no ways to input cheats directly in the game. In this guide, we will show you how to use the Cheat Engine to input some basic cheats in BG3.
Note – At the time of writing, the developers have not confirmed whether there will be any consequences for using cheat engine in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, players using them do carry the risk of ban or suspension.
Are there Any Baldur’s Gate 3 Cheat Codes?
No, at the time of writing there are no official cheat codes in Baldur’s Gate 3 that players can use like previous installments of the game. Although the developers have provided no official confirmation, it seems that the heavy multiplayer gameplay is the reason why Larian Studios wants to keep the game cheat free.
