Charli Cohen and Ubisoft celebrate the launch of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with a new fashion capsule collection, to be launched on January 19th.

Charli Cohen is partnering with Ubisoft to celebrate the launch of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the last opus of the well-known franchise, leading the way for a new generation of innovation in the gaming and fashion industries.

As we become increasingly digital in the ways we communicate, share experiences, and interact, Charli Cohen is focused on eradicating the boundaries between physical and digital products.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has always embraced new console generations and been synonymous with freedom of movement, style, and attitude, making it an ideal fit for a future-thinking fashion partnership.

The Charli Cohen x Assassin’s Creed AR-enabled fashion capsule launches today, featuring CC’s signature cutting edge performance technology, structural tailoring, and nods to the classic Assassin’s Creed silhouette.

Accompanying the project launch is a concept film, exploring the idea of shared genetic memory or ability we all have to break free of our mental and physical restraints through movement and action no matter who we are. The ability to lead and create change in the world is in all of us, and it starts with movement. The Creative Directors were Ben Thompson of Charli Cohen and Charlie Rees of Fuego Films. The film stars Lynn Jung and Paul Joseph with VFX by This And That Media.

“Video game narrative, whether visual or more conventional have always been my preferred form of storytelling but I’ve always felt the worlds and characters created had the potential to speak to multiple other themes rarely explored on screen. CC Industries [Charli Cohen’s media arm] is committed to working closely with video game developers with the aim of exploring branching narratives and themes outside of the game world but still in line with the IP’s themes and values. As a long time Assassin’s Creed fan myself working on this project with Ubisoft was a real honor and I hope both fans of the game and newcomers in the fashion world find something here they can relate to.”
