Charizard has been a fan-favorite Pokemon since the first Generation. But, players could not find it in the new Scarlet & Violet titles. Fortunately, in the new Tera Battle Event, you can battle this Pokemon and add it to your team. However, this is easier said than done since it’s a 7-Star Raid. Best Counters for 7-Star Charizard Tera Raid Battle Event in Pokemon Scarlet & Viole
Since it’s a 7-Star Tera even, you have to unlock the 6-Star event first. Meaning you have to be in the endgame to participate in this event. Moreover, your Pokemon should be above level 100 for you to have a chance against Charizard. If you meet these requirements then the next step is to find it.
How to Find Charizard Tera Raid
To find the Charizard Tera Raid Event, simply open your map. In there, look for Tera Raid Icon with a Purple Glow around it. It will be similar to the 6-Star Tera Raid events but with a Dragon Face Icon. As you get close to the crystal, it will have more of a rainbow effect. Gather your friends, interact with it and you can battle the Tera Charizard in it.
Best Charizard Tera Raid Counters
Charizard is a Fire/Flying dual-type Pokemon and it will have the Dragon Tera Type in this battle. So your best bet against it is a Fairy-type Pokemon. It will also use some powerful Fire-type moves like Fire Blast and Inferno. So should choose a Pokemon which is resistant to Fire-type moves. The best Pokemon you can use in this Tera Raid is Azumarill which is a Water/Fairy dual-type. Make sure it can Terrastalize to Fairy-type and is over level 100. Also, teach Azumarill Belly Drum and Play Rough before entering the event. Play Rough is a Fairy-type move that is super effective against the Dragon-type Charizard while Belly drum will boost your Attack stat. Since, Belly Drum will cut your HP as well, use the Cheer mechanic to restore it.
If you do not have an Azumarill then you can also use Sylveon, Grimmsnarl, Flutter Mane, and Dachsbun.
