When you play any game, the most important thing is your character because you experience the entire game through them. Now imagine that you put the time and effort to level them up and start progressing but when you log in after taking a break all the progress you made and your character disappeared. How to Fix Character Deleted issue in Diablo 2 Resurrected – Recover Progress in D2R
These fixes are not official but are sure to help you increase your chances of getting back your progress if your character disappeared.
- Log out of the game and try logging in again
- Restart Battle.net
- Log out of Battle.net and log in again
- Try Changing regions
If these fixes don’t help, chances are the issue could be with your connection, to fix that you can try some of these general fixes. Once your connection is back you should find your lost character.
- Check your internet connection by running a speed test or playing another online game.
- For wired connections try plugging out and in the ethernet connection, remember to wait for a minimum of 10 seconds before plugging it in again
- If you have wireless connections you can reboot your router.
- Restart your PC or the console.
Lastly, check if you are in offline mode. When you launch the game it will by default be set to online mode. But if you are playing it the game only offline you won’t find your character in the online mode. So your character wasn’t lost, it was just in the wrong place.
Finally, if nothing else works all you can do is wait. Blizzard should get the bug fixed as quickly as possible and you should get your progress and character back. Lastly, this is no fix to get your deleted character back, but if you can’t wait you can just create a new character and start the game over again.
