Published Date :

Wondering how to change to left hand in CS2? If yes, then don’t worry we have got you covered. The latest development in the Counter-Strike series offers a wide range of upgrades, new mechanics as well and a whole new competitive FPS shooter experience. With that being said, many players are wondering if Valve has offered an option to hold the gun in the left hand. While the default right-handed view feels more natural for most of the players out there, not all are convenient with it. So if you are looking for a hand swap in Counter Strike 2, check out this guide further to know if there is a way to change it in the game.

Can You Change to Left Hand in CS2?How To Swap Hands In CS2

Unfortunately, at the time of writing CS2 doesn’t have a dedicated option to change to left hand view. The definitive commands cl_righthand 0cl_lefthand 1 that allowed you to swap hands in CSGO, don’t work in the latest development. This might be a bummer given that many would prefer the weapon placement on their left hand side. While it lacks the feature for now, players should keep in mind that the game has recently been released. Knowing that a lot of players even Counter Strike professionals prefer the left hand view, the developers might add the option in the upcoming updates of the game.

One of the reasons why there is no option to swap weapon hands is due to various graphics and movement upgrades. However, the devs are yet to confirm everything on why they have removed the option. Having said that, players will have to make do with the default right hand view for now.  Changing to left hand in CS2 can be a valuable addition for many players. It will help them adjust according to their preferences while playing.
