To help you out, we will teach you to assign new spells.

How to Change Equipped Spells in Hogwarts Legacy

Use Spells Menu to Assign New Spells

In the early stages of Hogwarts Legacy, you can only have four magic spells on your spell diamond. But that won’t be an issue until you unlock more than four. Since each spell is assigned a face button, it is crucial to know how to include new spells.

To change equipped spells in Hogwarts Legacy:

  • Open the Magic Spells menu.
  • Press the Right button on your D-Pad to open the Spells list.
  • Move your cursor to the spell you want to equip.
  • Press the button you want to assign the highlighted spell to (E.g. X, Y, A, or B button on Xbox).

Then, you can use them through your spell diamond. There are several ways to unlock new spells like story progression, side quests, and more. Since there are only four slots on the diamond, it won’t be enough in the later parts of the game. To tackle that problem, you can unlock new Spell Diamonds in Hogwarts Legacy. To do so, all you have to do is level up and earn Talent Points, Then use those points to unlock Spell Knowledge 1 & 2 to get more diamonds. With multiple spell diamonds, you will be able to assign new spells and perform deadly combos.
