To change your game’s difficulty, interact with the World Stone. You may also know it as the Checkpoint stone, it is the large orange floating rock that gives you access to use the Checkpoint. Basically, this is what you have to do:
Do remember that changing your difficulty in Campaign mode resets your progress. So while you do get to keep all your upgrades, weapons, scraps, and some other items that you may have found. You will have to start progressing the story from scratch.
