In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can change & customize your Character’s Clothes, Outfit, & Hairstyle at your whim. Your Appearance is what you make it and it is very easy to change. To change your Clothes, you will have to first complete the Tutorial Missions. Once that is done, Press the Button that opens up the Main Menu. Under the Main Menu, there will be an Option of Wardrobe. Click on it and you will be able to change your Clothes.

If you want to change your Outfit and Hairstyle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, then you will have to access the Wardrobe option in the Main Menu. This is an issue in the game that the Devs have acknowledged and are working on a Hotfix. So I would advise you to wait till then. But if you are in a hurry to change your Clothes then here is what you will have to do.
The root of the problem lies in the Necklace Cosmetic. As such, changing to a different one should fix. If you do not have a Necklace then go to Scrooge McDuck and buy the cheapest Necklace. Swap into that Necklace and the Clothing bug should get fixed. If it doesn’t then you have no choice but to wait for the Hotfix.
