    How To Change Bot Difficulty In CS2

    Wondering how to change Bot Difficulty while practicing in CS2? If yes, then don’t worry we have got you covered. Bots offer a lot of variety when it comes to FPS shooters like Counter Strike. Players can practice their aim, movement, weapons, etc. while playing with bots. Not only does this improve your overall gameplay but also lets you explore the maps and other mechanics. And while starting out with easy bots might just be fine in the beginning, you will have to change their difficulty to practice accordingly. So if you are looking to practice your aim with expert-level bots to make things easier in the competitive mode, here is a guide you should check out further.

    In order to change Bot Difficulty in CS2, players will first have to enable the Developer Console in the in-game settings. Follow the steps given below in order to enable the console and switch bot difficulty in the game:

    • Head over to the in-game settings by clicking on the cog wheel.
    • Here select the Game Tab.
    • After which you will come across the Enable Developer Console option.
    • Click on the option and select Yes to turn it on.
    • Once done, all you need to do is select Practice after entering Play.
    • After selecting the map and entering the match toggle the Developer Console on.
    • You will have to press the ~ Key on your keyboard.
    • After which, type in “bot_difficulty” with the value you want.

    Players can type in the value between 1 to 3 where you will encounter normal bots on one and expert bots on three.
