A Squid is part of many useful recipes in Stardew Valley and while it is easy to catch, there are a few things that you will need. Although it’s not really a surprise that Squids can be found in water bodies, it can be difficult to know which ones. Since fishing is one of the most important things in the game, it’s likely that you won’t be new to it. Keeping that in mind, make sure that you have an Iridium Rod with bait attached (Fiberglass is also a valid alternative). Along with that, they are also available under certain other conditions and you can check out all of them right below.
How to Catch a Squid in Stardew Valley
As mentioned, you will need an Iridium Fishing Rod with bait and will have to wait for the Winter Season. While in Winter, head to the Beach or Beach Farm in the evening and you will be able to catch a Squid in Stardew Valley. Additionally, players can also occasionally get them from the Traveling Cart. Also, if you have a Magic Bait, you won’t have to worry about the time of day or the season and simply catch the squid from the Beach or Beach Farm location.
