How to Catch Passimian and Oranguru in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Published Date :

Pokemon Sword and Shield boasts over having 800 POkemon for players to catch and train but catching a Pokemon isn’t always as simple as just throwing a Pokeball at it, some Pokemon need different items. This guide will show you how to get and catch Passimian and Oranguru in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

How to Catch Passimian and Oranguru in Pokemon Sword & Shield

First thing you will have to keep in mind that Passimian is exclusive for Pokemon Sword, while Oranguru is exclusive for Pokemon Shield, that means that if you wish to have Pokemon from the game that you do not have you will simply have to find someone willing to trade it to you.

Pokemon trainers are well versed with these ape-like Pokemon, they are the fighting type but even with these Pokemon being available only in each game, catching them is incredibly difficult.

This is due to the fact that they have a rare spawn rate, this means that no only will you have to camp. There is absolutely no guarantee that you will eventually run into one.

You can only get your hands on one of these after you have beaten the fourth gym. To catch them you will have to go to Glimwood Tangle.

The best thing is the fact that they can appear in all weather, which is thoughtful by the developers as having a weather condition on top of the rare spawn rate would have displeased a lot of the fans.

In case you want a Pokemon from the other game, you will have to find someone willing to trade online, this is the best-case scenario as there are no indications exclusive Pokemon from either game might start to appear in the other one.

This is all there is to know about how to catch Passimian and Oranguru in Pokemon Sword & Shield, make sure that you check out other guides as well.
