Can you Catch & Ride Dragons in Hogwarts Legacy?

Hogwarts Legacy Ride Dragons

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, you cannot catch and ride Dragons in Hogwarts Legacy. While traveling the world, you will come across different kinds of creatures that you may be able to tame. However, you cannot do so with a Dragon. The Dragon is part of a quest and you will be able to see it in different cutscenes.

While in the Poppy Sweeting questline, you will come across the Dragon at Horntail Hall during the Fire and Vice quest. At the end of the quest, you will have to free the Dragon. After that, you will find a Dragon egg and as part of the Poached Egg quest, you will have to go to the Dragon nest and return it back to the mother.

At the time of writing, this is as far as you will go when it comes to meeting Dragons in Hogwarts Legacy. As we mentioned, you won’t be able to catch or ride it. However, it is worth mentioning that it can be added with a DLC expansion anytime in the future. So we are not completely ruling this out.

That’s all there is on if you can catch & ride Dragons in Hogwarts Legacy. While you are here, make sure you check out our other Hogwarts Legacy guides right here at Gamer Tweak.
