Camels are the new mob released with the Update 1.20 Trails and Tales of Minecraft and players want to know their spawn locations, how to breed them, and what they do along with many other things. This mob adds real competition to the horses in the game with their height and dash charge. They also protect the rider from Melee attacks from the ground. So here is everything that you should know about this Desert mob.
To breed Camels you first need to find 2 of them and then feed them Cactus. Find two adult camels and feed them cacti each and they will enter love mode. They will then create a baby camel. After a baby camel spawns, you need to wait for at least 5 minutes before the parent camels can breed again.
As for the Baby Camels, you can speed up the process of growing them if you feed them Cactus.
Camels Spawn in Desert Biomes of the game. To be more specific look for them in the center of each desert village. Speaking of their spawns it is highly advised that you don’t kill them. Camels only give 1-3 Exp if you or your tamed wolf kills them. Not only are these mobs harmless but they also don’t respawn.
So the only way left then to get more camels in this game is by breeding them.
Camels are very useful animals in Minecraft. They typically just wander around aimlessly in the desert while also avoiding any hazards or obstacles. But you can actually ride them to traverse the desert. And what really makes them special is that they allow not one but two players to ride it. We will check more of this in a bit.
Camels also sit randomly for a few seconds before getting up again. You cannot push a seated camel but if you hurt it, it will get up and run away.
In case your camel is low on health then you can feed them Cactus to replenish their HP by 2. Or you can just wait for them to auto-heal.
Yes, you can tame and ride camels in Minecraft. In fact, you can even put a saddle on it to control it better, make it jump, and use dash charge. While dashing makes the Camel move 12 Blocks front and jump one block high. You will have to wait for a bit to sprint again.
