    Minecraft Calibrated Sculk Sensor Guide

Aniket MauryaBy Aniket MauryaMarch 27, 20232 Mins Read

The latest 1.20 patch update of Minecraft has introduced several new features including a Calibrated Sculk Sensor. It is an advanced variant of the Sculk Sensor Block that functions slightly differently. A normal Sculk Sensor can be obtained from the surrounding. However, a Calibrated Sculk Sensor can only be obtained by crafting it. This new update sounds intriguing, right? Here’s everything you should know about it.

What is a Calibrated Sculk Sensor in Minecraft?

How to Get a Calibrated Sculk Sensor

Firstly, let us know how a Sculk Sensor works in order to understand the Calibrated Sculk Sensor even better. So, a Sculk Sensor block detects vibrations that are caused by any movement or event that occurred nearby. These vibrations are detected through Redstone signal inputs that trigger the Sensors. Any action like walking, jumping, eating, etc can cause vibrations which are then detected by a redstone signal triggering the Sculk Sensor.

Further, a Calibrated Sculk Sensor in Minecraft is capable of filtering the frequency it detects. This means that you can adjust the Calibrated Sculk Sensor to detect only a particular frequency. For example, you can only set it to detect vibrations that are caused by the jumping of a Mob nearby.

How to Get a Calibrated Sculk Sensor

In order to get a Calibrated Sculk Sensor in Minecraft, you will have to craft it. The recipe for crafting includes a 1x Sculk Sensor and 3x Amethyst Shard. After you have collected both of these ingredients, place them on the crafting table in the following pattern:
