Buying and selling player cards in MLB The Show 23 marketplace is not that complicated. But first, let’s talk about how to buy players in Diamond Dynasty. Here are the steps you need to follow on PlayStation and Xbox :

  1. From the Diamond Dynasty main menu, go to the “Shop” tab.
  2. Now, select “Marketplace” and then go to “MLB Players”.
  3. You will now see a list of randomized players for sale.
  4. You can also use the “Filters” option. On PlayStation, press the “Square” button, and on Xbox press the “X” button.
  5. Now you can search for the player you want or use Search Filters to find a specific player.
  6. To buy a player, select the card first by pressing the “X” button on PS and the “A’ button on Xbox.
  7. Now, a “Market Options” tab will open up.
  8. Select “Buy/Sell Options”.
  9. If you want to instantly purchase the player at the Buy Now price, then select the “Buy” option.
  10. However, if you want to get a better deal, we’d recommend you select the “Sell” Option.
  11. Using the Sell option will let you create a “Buy Order” of your choice.

As we said, if you select the “Sell” option, other users who own that player will sell it for the price that you have mentioned. So for example, if Jordan Montgomery’s buy now listing starts at 250 Stubs, you can get it for as low as 180 Stubs by using the Sell option.

Now that you know how to purchase your favorite player, learn how to sell a rare player card or a duplicate player in MLB The Show 23:

How to Sell Players in the Marketplace

If you want to sell players, you will need to follow the same steps mentioned above until you reach the “Buy/Sell” options. We will show you how to do the final bit:

  1. Once you have searched for the player that you want to discard, press the “Sell” option.
  2. Again, don’t select the “Sell Now” option if you want to earn more Stubs.
  3. Just select the “Sell Order” option. Enter your price and press “Finalise Order”.

Remember that since you are a seller, you will be charged a 10% tax on the total fee. Once you have placed your sell order, wait for the notification to pop up that confirms the sale of your player.
