Bug Weakness in Pokemon

pokemon bug type weakness

No matter if you are playing games from the series like Sword/Shield, Sun/Moon, BDSP, or if you are playing Pokemon GO. Bug types are always weak to Flying, Rock, and Fire types. One of the best things about this type is its weakness or strengths haven’t changed from Gen 2 of the main Pokemon games. So if you are a long-time player then you should not worry about any changes to their weakness. Remember these are the weaknesses of the pure Bug types, you can also refer to them as Bug and None types. So let us say if you have a Pokemon like Heracross which is Bug Fighting-type then the weaknesses will change.

Below are some of the Pokemon from each generation that bug types are weak to. So if you plan on countering a bug pokemon you should use them. Alternatively, if your bug Pokemon is out for battle and the opponent sends one of these then it is time to switch.
