How to Get the Brontosaurus in Grow a Garden
You can obtain a Brontosaurus by hatching a Dinosaur Egg (this pet is a rare drop with a ~1% chance) to you can use the DNA converter/Pet mutator to transform another pet. The rarer the pet you exchange, the better chance of obtaining a dinosaur from it. Once you place the Dino egg in your garden and wait for it to hatch (it takes 4 hours and 10 minutes), you might just get a Brontosaurus for your plot of land in Grow a Garden. The other options are Raptor, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl, or T-rex.
Visuals and Passive Ability
The Brontosaurus has a long, light-brown neck and body, and lighter hooves, making it one of the most visually impressive pets in the game. It grants a 5.2% boost in base size and weight to any pets hatched from eggs, even across different species. This boost can stack up to five times, capping at a 30% increase, though it does not affect other Brontosauruses. So in short, if you have more of this pet, you get bigger and heavier pets after that and they will perform their abilities better or more quickly.
Is it Worth it?
If you’re the kind of player who is more focused on pets that provide direct mutations, or Sheckles growth, this isn’t the right pick. This pet is more for those players who use a pet to buff other pets so the Brontosaurus is more of a passive addition. For players who prefer more immediacy, it’s best to look into other dinosaurs such as the T-rex.
