How to Breed Egg Moves in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Egg Move breeding is a great way to get a strong move at birth in Pokemon Sword and Shield which the Pokemon otherwise wouldn’t be able to learn, having all these small things in Pokemon Sword and Shield is what makes it so much fun and this guide will show you how to breed Egg moves in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

How to Breed Egg Moves Fast

Egg move breeding is a process in which the Pokemon in the egg can learn a move that it couldn’t otherwise, this is done to make sure that your Pokemon has a unique move before it hatches and you can get an advantage.

You will require a male Pokemon with the move that you wish the egg to have and another female Pokemon to fertilize the egg. If you have both the Pokemon of the same egg group then you can teach any move of the male Pokemon to the egg.

It is a pretty straight forward process and all you have to keep in mind is the fact that the male Pokemon can decide the move and the female Pokemon will hatch the egg of her own species.

Once you have both the Pokemon, all you have to do is go to the Nursery which you can find in Route 5 or Bridge Field, the Wild Area northeast of Motostoke.

You will need to handover the parent Pokemon and then you are free to go until the breeder changes its pose to that of a thinking one.

This is when you know that the egg is ready, once the egg is ready, all you need to do is place the egg in your Pokemon party and simply walk around until it hatches.

The hatchling will get you the Pokemon of the mother Pokemon’s breed with the move of the father Pokemon.

This is all there is to know about how to breed egg moves in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Do check our other Pokemon Sword and Shield Wiki Guides for more Tricks and Tweaks.
