Bottle Caps are one of the rarest items in Pokemon Sword and Shield, and there are only three ways that make sure you can get your hands on these tiny items, there is still no confirm method to acquire these caps so you will have to do these things over and over again to get a few.

The first method is to play Max Raid Battles, these battles have small chances of you getting bottle caps but nevertheless there are chances and besides bottle caps, you stand to earn a lot more from them, so keep on playing these as and when you can.

The second method is passive in nature but can get you a lot of things, you will require a Pokemon that has the Pickup ability, once you have this all you need to do is travel and if by chance there happens to be a hidden bottle cap your Pokemon will pick it up.

Not only that but Pokemon with Pickup ability stand to get a lot of hidden items and this might get you some amazing things.

The third and final option is by paying 500 Watts to the Digging Duo who you can find in the Bridge Field. This again isn’t a sure way to get bottle caps but paying them might stand you a chance at getting a few caps.
