Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite limited-time event was scheduled for the end of 2019 was not delivered, recently through its official blog, Borderlands 3 developer Gearbox announced the event is coming this Jan. A new version of Borderlands 3 Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite Event will scale based on players in a team allowing players to compete in a balanced battle.
Borderlands 3 Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite will be available from January 16 to January 30, 2020. Gearbox announced the event in its update for Borderlands 3 Hotfixes. The vent was postponed due to some technical issues as announced by Gearbox in December 2019.
Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite brings a challenging mission for max level vault hunters who can play in a team of four. The event is extremely tough if you are trying to play with players with lower levels or solo. Designed for Level 50 Vault Hunters the limited-time event will test all your skills. This is where you have to grab a party of four elite players including yourself to try out impressive gears and fight with elite soldiers and robots.
As per the previous announcement, the event was about to start through a hotfix that was released on December 31, 2019 at 9.00 AM PST. According to the new announcement Borderlands 3 Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite will be unlocked on Thursday, January 16 at 8:59 AM PST.
