The answer is a little complicated, but we will try our best to give you the most accurate answer. If your friends all have Borderlands 2 with you on different platforms, for example, you have it on your PlayStation, your friend has it on their Nintendo Switch and your other friend on their PC, all of you won’t be able to play together.

This means the game doesn’t have the Cross-Platform feature, yet. However, hypothetically, if you and your friends are playing this game on PC, you all can enjoy this experience together. Sadly, your friend that uses any other platform will have to be excluded and won’t be able to play with everyone else.

Can we expect Borderlands 2 Cross Platform mode soon?

Although there are a lot of angry fans and they really want the developers to act on this, we have not received any response back. However, Borderlands 3 has cross platform. So, your next best option would be to go for this game.

This is everything you need to know if you have been asking ‘Is Borderlands 2 Cross-Platform?’ Since you have shown interest in this game, you can also check out the Borderlands 2 Characters Tier List, right here on Gamer Tweak.
