Blue Moon Fisch Event: Everything You Need to Know

Published Date :

In Fisch, there are plenty of events that keep things interesting and there’s now a new one that unlocks a whole new bestiary. If you’re wondering how to trigger the Blue Moon event in Fisch and what does it do, this guide has you covered.

What is the Blue Moon Event in Fisch?

The Blue Moon is a special weather-based event that allows access to two hidden bunkers, each packed with unique fish you can’t catch anywhere else. To activate it, you’ll need the Blue Moon Totem—a powerful item that can only be bought in Second Sea after you’ve unlocked access by defeating the Cthulhu boss.

You can purchase the totem at Lushgrove Island for 500,000 E$ which is quite a high price if you have recently accessed the 2nd Sea. So, you can grind for this cash and purchase it, or you can spam Sundial totems and wait for the event to trigger naturally. The totem activates only during a Clear Winter Night so keep an eye on the icons on the screen.

When activated, two hidden bunkers—one in Sea 1 and one in Sea 2—become available for a limited time.

Here are the locations:

  • Sea 1 Bunker: Located on Snowcap Island (GPS coordinates: X: 2710, Y: 190, Z: 2560)
  • Sea 2 Bunker: Found on Lushgrove Island (GPS coordinates: X: 1410, Y: 155, Z: -580)

These bunkers each have their own bestiary. Sea 1 features fish like the Moon Idol and Moon Arctic Char, while Sea 2 offers catches such as the Moonveil Killifish and Glomfin Gar. All need specific bait, weather, and sometimes even time-of-day conditions.

These rare fish aren’t easy catches so you’ll want rods with high resilience and control, and enchantments like “Steady” can really help. Go for the highest tier rods from your Equipment and make sure to stock up on bait like Shark Head, Ember Berries, Gale Grub, Lagoon Leech, Mist Worms, Lushrooms, Crystal Bananas, Sapphire Krill, and a lot of bait from Sea 1 that you may already have.

Besides checking off rare fish in your bestiary, the Blue Moon event is a great way to challenge yourself. It’s not without its rewards! If you catch the moon Idol Sea 1 which is a Secret Fish, you get a 24-hour long boost which gives 50% XP, 10% chance of doubling the caught fish’s weigh,t and 5% chance to get the Moon Kissed mutation, which increases the sell value of fish by 2.2x. Apart from these important boosts, you also get blue particles on your character, and a blue crescent appears above it as well.
