Black Ops 6 Keypad Code Puzzle Solution

Updated Date :

After solving the Piano and the Boiler puzzle in Call of Duty Black Ops 6, you will find yourself in the basement, but unable to progress without the keypad solution. When you interact with it, a Decryption Log pops up with the instructions for the minigame. It says that you must enter numbers and press the unlock key to test possible combinations. The decryption log will show whether they are in the correct position, correct but wrong position, or not used at all. Wordle, anyone?

Remember that the blacklight can illuminate single or multiple fingerprints on the appropriate keys. With this hint, here’s how to solve the BO6 keypad code puzzle.

How to Decrypt the Keypad in Black Ops 6 (Code)

  • First, use your blacklight to hover over the numbers and note down the five most-used numbers. You can also try a number twice if the blacklight shows fewer numbers.
  • Input the numbers in any order to get some feedback from the minigame, just like your first attempt on Wordle.
  • So, if you see that all 5 numbers are yellow, that means the numbers are accurate, but the positions are not. If a number is red, it’s not there in the code, so eliminate it entirely.
  • Now, you must try different combinations, and remember the numbers that turn green — their positions are correct and should not change.
  • There are a limited number of attempts you can do. If you don’t get it right in your first attempt, you can try again, just the numbers will change. The steps to solve the puzzle will remain the same.
