Black Myth Wukong is delayed on Xbox and here is the reason why. Black Myth Wukong was planned on Game Pass where Xbox pass holders can get a free copy to play. However, due to some circumstances, this was delayed, which does not mean it will not be coming on Game Pass anytime in the future. Here is everything about when Black Myth Wukong is coming on Xbox.
Black Myth Wukong Xbox Release Dates
Black Myth: Wukong’s initial release date is Aug 20, 2024. It is scheduled to be released on Xbox, PS, and PC platforms. We have already seen some recent clips on PC and PS, but nothing about Xbox came into the picture. PC and PS users will be getting full access to Black Myth: Wukong on August 20, while Xbox users will have to wait.
The developer shared that they are facing some optimising issues on Xbox Series X|S due to which the game is delayed. To maintain quality standards and deliver the best to the players will take time. The same has happened with Baldur Gate 3, it was delayed on Xbox. It has been discussed widely on social platforms, that Xbox hardware is not powerful enough to handle the game. This causes the delay, as developers are trimming down without making it look bad.
The problem started with the Xbox S, a month-long delay has been noticed in some recent popular game titles. Microsoft cannot just release the game on one console, they have to release the title simultaneously on another platform. Developers have to work hard in trimming down the game content to a level that Xbox S can handle.
