Among the various types of Weapons, the game has the Thrusting Swords Class. They are a balance of moderate damage & fast attacks coupled with a good reach while piercing and slashing Enemies. In this guide, I will show you the Best Thrusting Swords in Elden Ring.

Best Thrusting Swords in Elden Ring

Thrusting Swords are a versatile Class of Weapons in Elden Ring. Not only can you modify them by applying several Ashes of War to change their Skills or Damage Type, but they also come with a built-in feint just like Curved Swords. Thrusting Swords primarily scale off of STR & DEX. This will vary depending on which Thrusting Sword you are using and their affinity. Their power & damage are boosted by a lot when Power-Stanced so tries to get two of the same if possible. Two different Thrusting Swords will do as well. Here are the Best Thrusting Swords you should be using in Elden Ring.

Antspur Rapier – One of the Best Thrusting Swords in Elden Ring

The Antspur Rapier is an amazing Thrusting Sword for many reasons. One of which that is is a Thrusting Sword. The other is the fact that it is the only one of its class to have Scarlet Rot buildup naturally. This opens up a build that can allow you to inflict 3 to 4 unique status effects onto your Enemy. Check out our guide on the Best PvP Builds to know more about the Antspur Rapier. The beauty of this weapon is its flexibility & versatility. You can apply any applicable Ashes of War & set the affinities accordingly. The Antspur Rapier scales D in both STR & DEX and to wield it you will need 10 STR & 20 DEX.

Frozen Needle

The Frozen Needle is a good Thrusting Sword as it applies Frost onto your Enemies. It is the only one of its class to have Frost buildup naturally. You can make a whole Frost Build with it as you can use it for close combat as well as ranged combat. It comes with a Weapon Skil: Impaling Thrust which cannot be replaced. The Frozen Needle scales E in STR & D in DEX and to wield it you will need 11 STR & 18 DEX. You can get the Frozen Needle by beating the Royal Revenant Boss. You cannot buff it Magically nor INT affects the weapon in any way.

Estoc Thrusting Sword

The Estoc is a Thrusting Sword that has a lot of uses and compared to the other weapons on this list, it’s the easiest to get. The Estoc scales E in STR & C in DEX and to wield it you will need 11 STR & 18 DEX. You can easily get one of them by just starting a Prisoner class. You can also buy it from the Nomadic Merchant at Liurnia of the Lakes & from Patches. The Estoc can be infused with any Ashes of War on it and make a good DEX weapon out of it. You can try the same strat as the Antspur Rapier but it won’t be as good. Since the Estoc has a higher DEX scaling, you can go for a Venomous Bleed Build. Buff it with a few Talismans & some Incantations and you will see the power of this weapon.
