Which is the best starter car in Forza Horizon 5? This question may be on your mind as you enter the world of FH5. The options you have are Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray, Ford Bronco and the Toyota GR Supra. Your choice will determine your experience in the early part of the game, until, of course, you unlock more beasts. Let’s take a look at which is the best starter car that you should choose.

Keep reading to know what you can expect with each of the starting car available in FH5.
Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray
This car is best for speed enthusiasts. It is an S1 class car that gives you 6.5 speed, 7.8 handling and 7.2 acceleration. From the options you have, this is the one that will give you the feeling of driving your car with complete abandon. Go for this if you want to start off with a Class S1 car.
- Speed: 6.5
- Handling: 7.8
- Acceleration: 7.2
- Launch: 7.8
- Braking: 6.2
- Offroad: 4.9
Ford Bronco
With an offroad stat of 8.1, this car is amazing for driving off the path. It’s a class B car with handling of 3.4 (which is kind of unfortunate), and its speed is rated 5.6. This car looks like a monster (but the 2020 Ford #2069 Ford Performance Bronco R is much, much better) but is pretty slow. It does pick up speed gradually and it’s a fun ride for your offroad adventures. Choose this if you want to work your way up from Class B to Class S eventually.
- Speed: 5.6
- Handling: 3.4
- Acceleration: 7.8
- Launch: 3.7
- Braking: 4.4
- Offroad: 8.1
Toyota GR Supra
This is a Class A car which is mainly for drifting. If you want to level up your drifting skills or simply want to enjoy the skills you already have, this is the one you should go for. The option you have in FH5 is sleek, silver and has a speed of 6.8.
- Speed: 6.8
- Handling: 6.5
- Acceleration: 5.5
- Launch: 5.8
- Braking: 4.8
- Offroad: 4.1
In my opinion, the best starter car in Forza Horizon 5 is Toyota GR Supra. Class A is nice to get started with and it’s super smooth to drive and gather some drifting skill points while you are at it.
If you like two or all three of them, don’t worry! You won’t lose them – they will still be in your Garage and you can switch over to them later. You will need to use the car you picked in your first race, so that’s how you will begin your wonderful journey of FH5. If you want to level up the Toyota GR Supra’s drifting power or want to speed up the Ford Bronco, you can go ahead and tune up/upgrade your ride.
