The SP-R 208 boasts of one of the highest damage outputs out of any Marksman rifle in MW2. However, with a bundle of attachments, this sniper can be fine-tuned for excellence. In this guide, we’ll take you through on what we regard as the best SP-R 208 loadout in Modern Warfare 2.
Best Loadout for SP-R 208 in Modern Warfare 2
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Optic: SP-X 80 6.6X
- Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt
- Stock: ZRL T70 Pad Extension
- Comb: Aim-assist 406
- Barrel: 12.5” Carbon Barrel
We used the FSS OLE-V attachment for the laser as it improves ADS speed, Aiming stability and also Sprint to fire speed. However, keep in mind that the laser beam can give away your location during the match. Next, we used the SP–X 80 as it has a 6.6x magnification. Alternatively, you could also use a 2x scope such as SZ Holotherm since most of the encounters take place up close. Having this scope would give you an adequate zoom for such situations in Modern Warfare 2.
The FSS ST87 Bolt was our go-to-choice as it boosts the sniper’s Rechambering speed. This simply means that it gets a slightly increased fire-rate. However, the downside of this is that it lowers the Rechambering accuracy which makes recoil control harder. For Stock, we used the ZRL T70 Pad Extension as it gives better mobility. It boosts Crouch movement speed, Sprint speed and ADS speed but will impair your Recoil control. Next, we used the Aim-assist 406 as it decreases the sprint-to-fire time. But for all that, it will decrease your Aim-walking speed and Aiming stability. Lastly, we have used the 12.5” Carbon Barrel as it is quicker and lighter but affects your damage and effective range.
