Best Moveset for Metagross in Pokemon GO
Metagross in Pokemon GO is a Psychic & Steel Type. This is a very strong Type combination and with a good set of moves, Metagross will be unstoppable. The Possible Moveset Metagross can learn in Pokemon GO are as follows.
- Fast attacks:
- Bullet Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Charged attacks:
- Earthquake
- Flash Cannon
- Psychic
- Meteor Mash (Through Elite TM)
This is all of the possible Moves a Metagross can get. The Best Moveset for the Pokemon to have is as follows:
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Psychic
This is the Winning Moveset for Metagross. Bullet Punch is the better option than Zen Headbutt to get Energy and is also better in Damage. Earthquake is a strong Ground Type Move and is Metagross’s strongest move. I have chosen Psychic over Flash Cannon for 2 reasons. First, one is it utilizes the Psychic Typing of Metagross (STAB move). The second reason is that Psychic has a 10% chance to drop 1 Def of the opponent. This in turn makes every other move stronger. Flash Cannon is good but not as good as Psychic.
So I would recommend either leveling up a Metagross that you have with these Moves or using a Fast TM &/or Charged TM to change the Moves. If you want to guarantee what you want then use the Elite Fast TM & Elite Charged TM. You can get them by completing Events & Battles that have the TMs as their rewards.
