The Lockwood 300 is a notorious shotgun in MW2 that draws parallels between the 725 that was a part of the 2019 Modern Warfare game. The double-barrel shotgun is very fun to use and is also considered to be overpowered with the right attachments. Hence, in this guide we’ll try to show you the best Lockwood 300 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2.
Best Lockwood 300 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2
- Muzzle: XTEN V2.0 Choke
- Barrel: Matuzek 812
- Underbarrel: Agent Grip
- Laser: STOVL Tac
- Stock: Heist Stock Mod
We chose the XTEN V2.0 for our Lockwood 300 Muzzle as it guarantees damage range, sound suppression and tighter pellet spread for your bullets. This means that you’ll get more concentrated fire on a specific area. However, keep in mind that it negatively affects your ADS and recoil control as well. Moving on to barrels, we chose the Matuzek 812 because it will increase the accuracy, range and also recoil control. It does lower your movement speed though.
Since you’ll be primarily firing from the hip with this shotgun in Modern Warfare 2, we recommend that you use the Agent Grip for the Underbarrel. It will boost your hipfire accuracy and will also support your speed and handling. Furthermore, if you complement this with the STOVL Tac for the laser, you will get an improved hipfire recoil control and accuracy. Lastly, we are choosing the Heist Stock Mod as it will improve your Aim down sight speed, sprint to fire speed, and movement speed. This will make the gun overpowered in terms of hipfire accuracy. However, this attachment will bring down your Lockwood 300’s aiming stability, aiming recoil and flinch resistance. Flinch resistance causes your aim to be thrown off track when you are taking damage.
That covers everything on the best Lockwood 300 loadout in Modern Warfare 2. If you liked this guide, don’t forget to check our MW2 wiki right here.
