The final mission of Dying Light 2 is the X13 Quest. Long story short, you are given a choice to either Launch the X13 Missiles that will destroy the City of Villedor or Save Lawan. What happened was, Waltz had begun the countdown for the Missile Launch, and Lawan, to save the City of Villedor, is going to manually detonate them. When the interaction happens, you will be given the following choices.
- Let Lawan detonate the bombs.
- Save Lawan.
The Best Ending is the one where Hakon is alive, you save the people of Villedor, & Lawan accompanies you on your journey towards the end. To get the Best Ending, Here is what you will have to do.
- Align more towards the Survivors Faction. In the Broadcast mission, you must favor the Survivors.
- Build a romantic relationship with Lawan.
- Keep Hakon alive. There are two instances where Hakon can die, make sure he lives.
- In the final mission, select the Let Lawan detonate the bombs option.
How many Endings are there in the Game?
Based on these two options, you will have two different endings in Dying Light 2. There is one more factor that gives us two more endings. That factor is if Hakon is alive or not.
