Baseball is back with San Diago Studio’s new and improved MLB The Show 23. Fans are in for a treat with all the new graphics and exciting game modes added to the latest installment. But the Diamond Dynasty mode will always be the main draw of The Show series. After the eventful last season and the recent WBC, gamers are in for all-new player rankings. We thought we could help you with our picks for the best Diamond Dynasty Cards for each position in MLB The Show 23.

Diamond Dynasty is the primary online game mode for The Show 23. You can build your squad by collecting player cards for each of the 9 positions. You can unlock them by playing through the mode and completing various challenges. Players can also purchase special packs to unlock high-rated players. Most of these cards can be opened by playing through Diamond Dynasty but they’ll require a lot of grinding to earn all the Stubs. Let’s look at what we think are the best cards to get this season.

Center Fielder – 97 Cedric Mullins
Shortstop – 97 Jeremy Pena
1st Base – 97 Joc Pederson
2nd Base – 97 Jeff McNeil
3rd Base – 97 Rafael Devers
Catcher – 99 Martin Dihigo
Designated Hitter – 97 Juan Soto
Right Fielder – 97 Taylor Ward
Left Fielder – 99 Buck O’Neil

This year Diamond Dynasty will feature sets and seasons. The core set of cards consists of all the current series players and even includes players from the Negro League story mode. Each season will add new player cards you can switch out with your current squad. Playing the ranked mode will thus require you to have a few in-season player cards too.

These are in our opinion the best Diamond Dynasty Cards in MLB The Show 23. Check out our guides on How to change field settings and other MLB The Show 23 guides here on Gamer Tweak.
