Till now in Season 2, the RPK LMG was outclassing all the ARs but since it got a nerf in both MW2 and Warzone 2, ARs have made a comeback. The best AR to use right now is the TAQ-56.

Here is the loadout build for the best TAQ-56:

  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag

This TAQ-56 build is the best one to use in Season 2 of MW2 and Warzone 2. The TAQ-56 has been buffed this season and it was already a pretty decent weapon in the previous season. TAQ-56 has a slower fire rate compared to other ARs but it hits as hard with each bullet. It also has good range and low recoil just by default.

The Harbinger D-20 and Lockgrip Precision-40 are both essential attachments. These attachments make it so that there is very little recoil and also a lot of damage range. The muzzle also keeps the weapon silenced while also increasing bullet velocity.

Other attachments like the Aim OP-V4 optic will give you a nice and clean red dot sight. The zoom level on it is also usable on all ranges. It is one of the best sights for an AR in MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 right now.

The 5.56 High Velocity ammunition works exceptionally well on the TAQ-56. It gives your bullets an even higher bullet velocity which makes you far more accurate. And finally, the 60 Round Mag gives you increased magazine capacity to make sure you can take down your enemies without reloading.

That is all you need to know on which is the best AR to use in Season 2. For more guides like this, check out our other articles like the best SMG to use in season 2 and the best one-shot sniper loadout in MW2 and Warzone 2.
