After you complete the main quest ‘Potion of Blood’ in Assasin’s Creed Valhalla, you will unlock the Quest called ‘Children of Danu’. This quest will task the players to find all the 10 members of Children Of Danu and kill them one by one. The first member that you will have to find in Valhalla is The Wren aka Niamh, the Poet, and kill her. The catch here is that she is untraceable on the map just like the other members. You will have to first find the three clues that will then unlock her exact position on the map. This is when you get to kill her. How to Beat The Wren In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
To beat the Wren, we have mentioned the locations where you can find the clues that lead to her and the best strategy to kill Wren when you locate her.
How to Find Wren?
To find Wren, you will have to first find the three clues that will lead you to her. All of these clues as well as the Wren are in the Connacht region of Assasin’s Creed Valhalla. Here are the map locations for you to refer to:
Clue 1 Location – Potion Of Blood Main Quest
This main quest takes place in Connacht here you will have a dialogue with Deirdre. She will reveal the first clue to you.
Clue 2 Location – Port Auley
Go to Port Auley and on the seashore, you will find an abandoned cottage that is reddish in color. Enter that cottage and you will find the second clue. It will be on the stacked sacks in the corner of the room. This will lead you to the third clue that is mentioned in the note: Lough Gara lake.
Clue 3 Location – Lough Gara Lake
There will be a tall ritual stone called the Great Stone located right beside the lake. Along with some skulls, the crate in front of the stone will have your third and final clue.
The Wren Location
Once the final clue is revealed, You will unlock The Wren’s Location on the Assasin’s Creed Valhalla map. Go to the Order menu and Mark Target on her to locate her o the map. You will be taken to the Rathcroghan Town’s market area. Scout the market and you will find her roaming on the streets somewhere.
How to Kill the Wren In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
Once you spot the Wren in the Rathcroghan Town’s market area, you will see that she is surrounded by your enemies. She will be sitting below a yellow shade. Norse-Gael Gallowglass along with one other guard will be protecting her.
The way to kill the Wren is to sneak up on her and her guards. When you approach the Wren, climb the Yellow shade so that you are off the enemy’s sight. When the guards come out of the shade, attack them from the top. This way you will have a surprise element. Make sure you wound the Wren as soon as you start your attack. Alternatively, you can perform a long-range attack on her when she is out of the shade and begins to walk.
Once you kill her guards, you can go back to her and press E to confirm her kill. A short cutscene will play where you will assassinate her and the blade will pass through her flesh. Niamh, the Poet is now assassinated. She will also drop the clue for the next Children Of Danu Member Location.
