How to Beat Light Elves in God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok Defeat Light Elves

In GoW Ragnarok, the Light Elves are split into three types, Light Elf Warriors, Light Elf Mystics, and Light Elf Slayers. Collectively players know them as Light Elves and each has a different method of battling. Hence if you want to beat Light Elves, you have to identify and understand how to approach the battle.

Here’s how to beat Light Elves in God of War Ragnarok:

  • Light Elf Warriors – These are the sword-carrying ones that will assault you for a melee battle. While there are two types in this as well, beating them will need you to land successful hits past their blocking. A group of these elves will carry one sword and the other will carry two. Beating the second one will be tough as you can only parry their move. Reading their movement is the key to defeating these Light Elves in God of War Ragnarok.
  • Light Elf Mystics – These are the long-ranged types who will hurl projectiles at you. Defeating them first is quite important as their projectiles can do more damage. Additionally, it is not easy to close in on them due to their multiple abilities. We recommend you throw the Leviathan Axe at them first. That is one of the best ways to beat these Light Elves in God of War Ragnarok.
  • Light Elf Slayers – They are probably the most difficult ones among the three. Being a combination of the above two, they are strong at melee and long-ranged attacks. If you encounter one, it is best to understand their move set before you go all charging. Using the chain for Flame Whiplash might be a useful idea.

That’s all there is on how to beat Light Elves in God of War Ragnarok. While you are here, make sure you check out GoW Wiki for more Ragnarok guides at Gamer Tweak.
