The Bearded Dragon pet in Grow a Garden is of the Divine tier and obtainable from the Trader event. Since it’s a limited-time pet and requires some grinding and a lot of luck, here’s everything you need to know about the process.
How to Get a Bearded Dragon in Grow a Garden
This pet isn’t a drop from any egg – it’s actually obtained from the Gem Chest which is one of the rewards from the Trader event.
To get started, interact with the Trader that has spawned in the middle of the map and submit the amount of crops that are requested. For example, you might need 20x Tomatoes to get the first reward, 30x Strawberries for the second reward, and so on.
Note that there is a streak element involved, so keep your reminders on if you want to continue the streak. As the streak increases, you get different rewards. You can take a look at all the possible drops by interacting with the Trader.
For instance, when your Streak hits 8, there’s a 13.33% chance of getting the Gem Chest and the Bearded Dragon has a 1% chance of appearing from it. So, it’s a game of a lot of patience and luck.
If you buy the Exotic Gem chest, you can get the Bearded Dragon from there as well. 1 chest costs 199 Robux, 3 chests cost 575 Robux, and 10 chests can be bought for 1699 Robux. But it’s not a guaranteed drop in this case – it still has a 1% chance.
What does the Bearded Dragon Do?
The pet will occasionally eat all the fruit on a Divine and higher rarity plant and provides a random egg from the egg shop. So, if you have a pet-focused garden, this might be worth the effort. Plus, it comes with bragging rights as well!
