How to save Lae’zel from the cage and get her down in Baldur’s Gate 3? Among all the other characters, Lae’zel is the first whom you meet. After your first meeting with her in the Mind Flayer’s Ship, you will find her again while exploring the Ravaged Beach area. But this time, she will be trapped inside a hanging wooden cage. How to Free Lae’zel from Cage in BG3
Approaching the Tieflings near the cage will automatically start a conversation. Here, you can get Lae’zel out of the cage by initiating a battle with the Tieflings from a distance. After the battle ends, you will need a long-range weapon to free Lae’Zel in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can loot the Tiefling’s corpse to get a bow.
Once you have it, equip it and hover the cursor on the base of the cage and shoot it. Since the base is weaker, it should break within a few hits. After Lae’zel falls off the cage, she will take a little damage due to the height. However, if you already have Gale in your party, then don’t worry, he will heal the damage by casting a spell on her.
Also, you can approach the Tieflings and initiate a conversation with them. During this interaction, you can either side with the Tieflings and kill Lae’zel or do the opposite.
