Attaching the bait is so important as it allows you to get the fish to bite faster. Not only that but you can fish any type of fish you want with a Magic Bait. Here’s what you need to do to attach bait to your fishing rod in Stardew Valley:

  • Firstly, you will have to replace the Bamboo Rod with a rod that allows the bait to be attached to it.
  • Fiberglass Rod or Iridium Rod will attach bait. If you can purchase an Iridium rod, you will also be able to attach a lure.
  • Once you have the required Rod, use the Use Tool Key.
  • With the Use Tool Key, drag the bait to the rod and it will be attached.
