Ubisoft recently shared new details about the romance options of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, also clarifying some doubts that arose as a result of the information released during Ubisoft Forward.
One of the announcements released during the presentation concerns the possibility of changing the gender of the protagonist Eivor at any moment of the adventure.
Well, Ubisoft’s Youssef Maguid has made it clear that the Eivor ‘s gender will not modify or limit any of the relationships in the final game: “There are multiple people you can romance in the game, and you can romance all of them as either gender.”

In this regard, the narrative director Darby McDevitt also spoke, and stated how the title has expanded the possibilities in terms of romance, allowing, for example, to carry on a couple of one-night-stands and, at the same time, other minor relationships, depending on the player’s will.
“There are definitely a couple of one-night-stands you can get involved in and they’re fun in their own ways but there’s also going to be some longer-term relationships,” McDevitt said. “A little of both. If you want to be monogamous and have a single, ongoing relationship with somebody, you can do that.”
As announced recently, those who purchase the game on current generation consoles will have the opportunity to upgrade it to the next-gen version at no additional cost.
We remind you that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on November 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but it will also arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
