The producer of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has confirmed in an interview on YouTube that map of AC: Valhalla will be probably “a bit larger” than Assassins Creed: Odyssey, the previous title of Ubisoft.
Even if there were some statements made by the Ubisoft’s Head of Communication, Malek Taffaha, that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will not be the longest or largest game in the series a few days ago, it appears that the latest title of the French company will have a slightly larger game map, in terms of size, compared to Assassins Creed: Odyssey.
In that sense, the producer Julien Laferrière, who was interviewed by a YouTuber recently, stated the following regarding the map size of Valhalla:
Julien Chièze: The first thing that interests the players is the size of the world compared to what you have done previously in odyssey, origins, which are the last two. Is it similar, is it bigger, is it comparable?
Julien Laferrière: I would actually say in terms of range it is probably a bit larger than Assassins Creed Odyssey. I do not have the exact figures at this stage, but we have not only created the whole country, which is, in this case, England, but also to a good part of Norway too. There are other secret worlds, which I can not speak about today, which contributed to the size of the game. It’s not a small game, it is a game that is clearly ambitious, which will offer many many hours of gameplay for the players.
Recall that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be a cross-gen title and it will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, Google Stadia and PC. In recent news, the release date of AC: Valhalla was leaked via Amazon Italy.
