As revealed in the Ubisoft Forward 2023 Showcase event, there’s an Assassin’s Creed Nexus Virtual Reality game releasing in the Holiday Season of 2023. It will be the first time when players will get to play the true Parkour + Assassination experience with a first-person perspective. For now, it is confirmed that it will release for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3 series. However, Ubisoft seems to miss the bigger picture as there is no news about its launch on PSVR2. So, what does it mean? Is Assassin’s Creed Nexus coming to PSVR2?
Is Assassin’s Creed Nexus Releasing for PSVR2?
Unfortunately, Assassin’s Creed Nexus is unlikely to launch on PSVR2 anytime sooner. So for now, the Oculus Meta Quest VR series is all you got for enjoying 3 of the best characters from the Assassin Creed Series – Ezio (Assassin Creed II), Connor (Assassin’s Creed III), and Kassandra (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey) in one game.
The Market for PSVR2 is increasing gradually around the globe. And Ubisoft will probably want to expand their sales and releasing Assassin’s Creed Nexus on PSVR2 will just be a perfect plan of execution for them. So, there is a good chance that it will come to all the major VR Headsets including PlayStation VR2.
Luckily, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is releasing in October to compensate for it. Moreover, PlayStation users will get to play the new Marvel’s Spiderman 2 exclusively, so that’s a happy distraction as well.
Assassin’s Creed Nexus will break all the barriers and let you immerse yourself in the world of extreme parkour and action. Check out the trailer below.
