    How To Get Past Arcane Turret In BG3 (Activate Elevator)

    How to disable all the Arcane Turrets in the Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3? For those who don’t know, the Arcane Tower is located southwest of the Underdark area. The way to get inside the tower is obstructed by a few Arcane Turrets, but they can be disabled. No, you can’t go close to the Turrets as it will shoot you with a blue energy beam. But we have found another way to get the job done here. Not only you’ll be able to defeat get past the Arcane Turrets, but also activate the Tower Elevator in BG3. Take a look below to get started.

    How to Disable and Get Past Arcane Turrets in BG3

    There are 2 Arcane Turrets blocking your way on the grounds of the Tower. The Turrets can only shoot if you are in their line of sight. Taking advantage of this fact, you can use the giant rocks nearby as a cover. Adjust yourself in such a position that you remain covered and still be able to shoot the Arcane Turrets. In this process, you may get shot once or twice but you can bear that. By doing so, you will be able to disable the Arcane Turrets in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).

    Once you get inside the Tower’s first floor, you’ll come across 2 Arcane Turrets again. But this time, both the Turrets will be close to each other. Luckily, you can use the pillars inside the room to take cover and destroy them. After destroying these Arcane Turrets in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3), you must now activate the elevator inside the Arcane Tower.

    How to Activate the Arcane Tower Elevator in BG3

    To activate the Elevator inside the Arcane Tower, you must power up the Generator. This Generator is found inside the basement but you don’t have to use the stairs this time. Powering up the Generator not only activates the elevator but also disables all the Arcane Turrets in Baldur’s Gate 3. But in this case, you’ve already destroyed the Turrets before. Anyways, follow the steps below to reach the basement and power up the Generator.

    • Enter the first floor of the Arcane Tower.
    • Exit from the door on the left and reach the balcony.

    • From there, use the giant mushrooms on the right to make your way down.
    • Once you get down, collect one Sussur Bloom from near the blue glowy tree.

    • After collecting the Sussur Bloom
    • Lockpick the door nearby to enter the basement of the Arcane Tower.
    • Therein, you can interact with the Power Generator and place the Sussur Bloom in it.

    How to Activate Arcane Tower Elevator in Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3)

    • Doing so will charge up the Generator and activate the Arcane Tower Elevator in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).

    All of your teammates can now use the elevator and reach the top of the Arcane Tower.
