If you saw the Season 3 trailer for Apex Legends you might remember the glimpse of Crypto in alternate skin, well Crypto wasn’t only the new thing about that clip. It turns out that the developers of Apex Legends have places secret loot rooms in Apex which are currently locked.
In order to unlock these rooms you will need a key, to get your hands on one such key you will probably have to destroy a couple of cargo bots that you see in Season 3 which deliver random loot when you shoot at it.
This was discovered by YouTuber DooM49 and in the clip, he explains that this secret room will be unlocked on or after the 14th of October, now this isn’t any event-based room but a part of the design of the map in Apex Legends.
To find it you will have to travel to The Mine Pass which is near the Lava region, and as it looks in the video you will certainly need to enter a building or a basement. It is seen that you will get high tier loot in this secret room and will certainly be popular once unlocked.
This is a few clever easter eggs to make sure that the players keep on discovering new things which will keep them invested in the game and playing Apex Legends without needing to switch out for a new game.
Now we aren’t sure how many more room there are, or what other secrets does this new map hold, but we’re excited to find out more as we progress further into Season 3 of Apex Legends.
