Annihilape is a new evolution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with a strong learnset, and players are looking for ways to get it. In these titles, you get three storylines and post-game quests. On this adventure through Paldea, you will meet many strong trainers. So to win battles, you will need a strong team. Primeape is a fan favorite since the first generation. This guide has everything you need to know about its evolved form.
How To Get Primeape and Evolve it into Annihilape in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
You cannot catch this Ghost/Fighting dual-type in the wild. First, you have to get a Primeape by evolving Mankey or catching one in the wild. You can find Primeape in West Province (Area Three), North Province (Area One), and North Province (Area Two).
Once you get a Primeape, you can evolve it into Annihilape by using the Rage Fist move 20 times. At level 35, Primeape will learn this move on its own. To do so, you can use Exp Candies, Rare Candies, and Meal Powers. Then, you can start the grind to evolve it.
Once you get this Pokemon, you can level it up to learn various moves. With a massive Attack Base Stat, this one can wreak havoc on your foes. That being said, here are Annihilape’s learnset moves you can get by leveling up in Scarlet and Violet:
Unlike most others, this Pokemon has two Abilities and a Hidden Ability. So you can switch between them using Ability Capsules and Ability Patch according to your playstyle. That being said, here are Annihilape’s abilities:
- Vital Spirit: Pokemon with this ability cannot fall asleep during battles. This can be a huge advantage against moves like Grass Whistle and Hypnosis.
- Inner Focus: This ability prevents Flinching. So your chances of losing a turn are nulled.
- Defiant (Hidden Ability): Increases the Attack stat when other stats are lowered.
