Star Wars Jedi Survivor features multiple different Lightsaber Stances that Cal can use. These stances provide you with different move sets and abilities to perform in combat. As such, some can be used effectively in a particular situation while others for another. Let’s take a look at how each of the stances works.
How does each Lightsaber Stance work in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?
Listed below are all the Lightsaber Stances you can get throughout the game in Star Wars Jedi Survivor:
- Single Bladed
- Double Bladed
- Dual-wield
- Crossguard
- Blaster
Let’s go in-depth and in detail about each of these stances that you can acquire as you play through the game.
Single Bladed
You can never go wrong with the classic Single Blade stance. While being the most common stance in the Star Wars universe, it is also one that has been mastered by the likes of Obi Wan and Luke Skywalker. Cal uses this stance at the start of the game and also used it for the major part of the previous title. It is a reliable and strong stance that can be used in most combat situations and enemies in the game.
Double Bladed
The Double Bladed stance is one of, if not, the most powerful stances in the game. This stance converts your lightsaber into a double-sided long-staff lightsaber. This opens up many different
Different possibilities for moves in combat situations. The moves you can unlock for this Lightsaber stance are by far one of the most powerful ones compared to all others in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Dual-Wield
As cool as the Dual-Wield stance might sound and look, it is one of the weaker stances in the game. This converts your lightsaber into two different ones in each hand. While this makes you more agile and fast, it just does not feel powerful enough. The stance also has the ability to auto counter attacks yet does not live up to its own image.
Crossguard
The Crossguard stance is most similar to a heavy sword stance in most RPG games. This stance is the one Kylo Ren famously uses in the Star Wars universe. As you would expect from a heavy sword-type attack, this stance does the most amount of damage with each attack. However, it is also slow and feels bulky. If you are a slow yet hard-hitting kind of player then this stance is for you.
Blaster
This a unique stance that incorporates a Blaster as one of the weapons you can use along with the Lightsaber. This stance makes the Lightsaber one-handed while your other hand can be used to shoot enemies at long ranges using the Blaster. This can be an effective stance in certain situations where you are fighting more ranged enemies.
