Is Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity multiplayer?

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity does have a multiplayer mode but there is a catch. Yes, the latest hack-and-slash video game does not support multiplayer mode but it does not allow you to play the game with a friend online. You can play Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity with your friends but your friends should be around the place where you are playing the game in multiplayer mode.

To play Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity in multiplayer mode, you simply need to have a person around you and open the game map and click the left thumbstick. Doing this will ask you whether you want to play the game in multiplayer mode or not.

Now, select YES to play the game with your friends. Now, just turn on the second remote and pair it with the console. The game will switch into a split-screen mode, each character will be able to move around the world independently.

Notably, only two players can be added in a multiplayer mode.
